Rating Notes:

Owner payroll is defaulted by the system. Employee payroll is to exclude the owner payroll.

Users must enter the percentages of the total exposure applicable to the classification. If more than one classification is entered, the exposure must total 100%.

The only "non-numeric" value should be "if any". The percentage number should always be greater than "0" if not rated on an "if any" basis.

The system will allow for additional insureds and several optional endorsements.

Options:

• Print a Rate indication worksheet detailing rates, premiums and forms.
• Save/print the indicaton and proceed to complete ACORD Application and ultimately a bind order.
• Save the quote and exit the system.

If the button EMAIL INDICATION TO UNDERWRITER is selected, the user will have the ability to add comments to the indication request. In addition, an email will then be submitted with the rating worksheet and comments.

 

Once the user finishes answering the underwriting questions, the user will have to decide what action to take.

• Print the application. (.pdf format)
• ACORD Applications 125 and 126
• TRIA Disclosure Notice.
• Remit a binder request to underwriters and/or save the indication.
• Exit the quote.

Users have the ability to attached documents (loss runs, inspections, etc.) when emailing a rate indication.

Maximum Limits of Liability that may be offered subject to underwriting guidelines:

$2,000,000 Products Completed Operations

$2,000,000 Personal and Advertising Injury

$2,000,000 Each Occurrence

$100,000 Damage to Premises Rented to You

$10,000 Medical Expense (any one person)

Maximum available limit is no more than double the 'Each Occurrence Limit'.
$2,000,000 Products Aggregate is not available on any Residential General Contractors.

Additional Interests

Fully earned* minimum premium is $50.00 for each additional insured.

Blanket Additional Interests

Use ISO CG 2033 (10-01). The charge shall be 5% of premises and operations premium, subject to a minimum premium of $500.00 - fully earned*

Waiver of Subrogation

Routine requests subject to fully earned* premium of $50.00. A higher premium may be charged, based on underwriting judgment, relative to the risk exposure. Please use ISO Form CG2404, "Waiver of Transfer of Rights of Recovery Against Others to Us". Blanket waivers are not available.

Per Project Aggregate

• Use Endorsement CG2503
• Premium - 10% of the policy premium subject to a $250 minimum
• Submit if not required by contract or if not construction related
• Please be sure to complete this fill-in form to accurately describe the project we are providing this extension of coverage to.

Primary & Non-Contributory Wording

• Use Form CG2010A
• We allow Primary and Non-Contributory Wording for artisan contractors operating as a subcontractor only. Submit other requests for approval
• Charge $250 fully earned premium for each AI with this wording.

Per Location Aggregate

• Use Endorsement CG2504
• Premium - 10% of the policy premium subject to a $250 minimum
• Submit if more than three (3) locations

Hired Auto and Non-Owned Auto Liability

CGL coverage may be extended to include Hired Auto and Non-Owned Auto Liability for acceptable classifications. Flat charge premiums: $400 for both; $200 each coverage. Contact us.

Assault and Battery

Assault & Battery Exclusion should be added to any of the following classes of business and similiar exposures. Contact us for exceptions.

• Any risk selling, serving, or allowing the consumption of alcoholic beverages on or off their premises.
• This includes, but is not limited to: campgrounds, clubs, restaurants, special events, nightclubs, etc.
• Any risk providing entertainment
• Teen clubs
• Any risk open 24-hours a day
• Any risk with prior assault and/or battery claims or incidents reported whether paid or not
