Pesticide & Herbicide Applicators and Pest Control Services
We are pleased to now offer you our Pest Control Program for both Property, Commercial General Liability and Professional Liability for Wood Destroying Organism Inspection Service.
This program is intended for herbicide/pesticide operations. These operations must meet all
standards of any statute, ordinance, regulation or license requirement of any federal, state or local
government which applies to any pesticide/herbicide applicator/technician.
- Lawn care operation offering only pesticide/herbicide applications should be rated under our Landscape Gardening Program.
- Incidental pesticide/herbicide application done in conjunction with other lawn work (mowing, mulching, planting flowers etc)
- Termite control and termite inspection service is included but the use of any kind of gas is excluded.
- Our program includes coverage for smaller wildlife removal services. (Raccoons, birds, rodents, batsetc.)
- Accounts doing large animal removal can be considered.
- Our program includes $100,000 of coverage for property in the insured’s care, custody and control. Higher limits are available for an additional fee.
- Our program includes $10,000 In-Transit Pollution Coverage at no charge. Higher limits are available for an addition fee.
- Lost Key Coverage is included for a $10,000 limit at no charge. Higher limits are available for an additional fee.

Professional Liability for Wood Destroying Organism Inspection Service
We also offer professional liability on this program. It may cover the insured because of property damage to real property because of any wrongful act with respect to the identification of damage, as specified in the insured’s inspection contract caused by wood destroying organisms.

- Limits offered are:
$100,000 Each Wrongful Act / $300,000 Annual Aggregate = Premium Charge $500.
$250,000 Each Wrongful Act /$ 500,000 Annual Aggregate = Premium Charge $750.
Submission Requirements
- Signed and completed ACORD 125 126 application.
- Signed and completed Pesticide/Herbicide Applicators Questionnaire
- 3 - 5 years Loss Runs
- Every policy must include the TRIA Notification Form.
- Any additional documentation pertaining to the underwriting or pricing of the account
- The insured’s employees performing herbicide/pesticide operations must be licensed and meet all
standards of any federal, state or local government which apply to those operations.
- The insured’s noncertified or nonregistered employees must be under the instruction and control of a
certified applicator/technician and that certified applicator/technician must be physically present at
any premises, site or location where work is being conducted.
